made up of passionate creatives and seasoned professionals specializing in film production and event
management. We blend technical skill with the art of impactful storytelling.
Driven by a deep passion for using the arts as a catalyst for advocacy, Letura was founded to fill a crucial
gap in mainstream media where too many vital stories remain unheard. From our earliest projects to our
latest festival productions, we remain committed to amplifying marginalized voices and transforming
powerful ideas into bold, resonant visual stories.
Our multidisciplinary team includes filmmakers, cinematographers, photographers, editors, colorists,
illustrators, graphic designers, animators, and event producers. Every story we tell, every frame we
create, reflects the essence of our name Letura which means a full measure of fulfillment. We strive to

Our Executive Producer
Meet Wunmi
Wunmi Idowu is the CEO and Executive Producer of Letura Productions Inc., using storytelling to drive social change by shining a light on often-overlooked narratives. Born in Lagos, Nigeria, and raised in Alberta, Canada, she is committed to bringing underrepresented stories to the forefront.
With experience in event management since 2007, Wunmi brings a strong background in producing live, community-focused events alongside her film work.
Since beginning her filmmaking journey in 2018 with UNGANISHA: Explore. Connect. Dance., Wunmi has directed, produced, and led socially impactful projects including a TELUS STORYHIVE debut, a six-part series on TELUS Optik TV, Roots 2 Branches, and She Leads: Making a Way for Black Artists. She views film as a catalyst for dialogue, action, and lasting change, with a focus on amplifying diverse voices and fostering a more inclusive cultural narrative.
Through bold visuals and community-rooted storytelling, Wunmi bridges cultures and uplifts overlooked and unheard voices.
